Mono Awards 2021 Announced

The Mono Awards showers winners with $12,500 in prizes. The competition is hosted by Australian Photography and Capture magazine and the 2021 project challenged photographers to submit works in one category only, choosing from People, Places, and Animals. The judges were looking for the best monochrome image in each category.

This year, the winners were Diana Fernie, Mel Sinclair, and Susan Sventek. You can view the photographs here.

The organizers claim the Mono Awards are the largest competition in Australia and New Zealand specifically featuring monochrome and black and white images. SanDisk is the major sponsor with Momento Pro, Momento Photo books, and Midland Insurance Brokers as the supporting sponsors.
