Virtual Monthly Presenter’s Meeting: Mike Osborne & Nicholas Dill
Our featured speakers are typically accomplished photographers from throughout the US and beyond. The monthly meetings also include a “photo challenge” segment, in which all current PPF members are invited to submit photos that reflect a specific theme. These meetings are the Third Monday of the month and open to the public.
If you would like to learn more about meetings, please become a member today, and you will be subscribed to our newsletter.

“This will be a lapse-dissolve slide presentation of B&W images of sand dunes in Death Valley National Park. For such a pedestrian substance, sand presents an almost miraculous ability to show off the magical way in which tones from pure black through pure white can be selected to represent an almost unimaginable array of textures, patterns, lines and shapes. Cresting each new dune offers photographic possibilities from traditional landscapes to otherworldly abstracts.” - Mike Osborne

An Introduction to the Hybrid Platinum Palladium Workflow
In this talk I will explain why a hybrid workflow is the ideal choice for my style of photographyand presentation and why one would choose to work in this way. I will also briefly explain the different processes which lend themselves to this style of working and why I largely choose the platinum process for my own work.
