Annual Meeting & Featured Speaker Carlon Tapp

PPF will hold our Annual Members Meeting in conjunction with our November monthly meeting. We will introduce our current Officers and Board members, and the candidates for next year's Board, review our financial status, and recap activities from 2026.

Up-to-date paid members will receive a ballot by email about a week later to vote on the 2027 Board of Directors candidates.

The Members meeting should take about 30 minutes and will be followed by our guest speaker, Carlan Tapp, who has a wonderful story to share with us about his creative photography.

Carlan Tapp | PPF Featured Speaker
“Filmmaking, photography, motorcycles, and road trips have figured prominently in my life from an early age. My Dad loved road trips. With a map and guidebook on the dash, he’d load up our Pontiac and off we’d go, catching every attraction and historical site along the way.  When I turned 6, my Dad bought me my first camera. I still have the photos of our road trips. Then at 16, I purchased a used Yamaha dirt bike.

Fast-forward to 2011, a Harley and a Route 66 road trip, which I shot in black and white for Harley-Davidson HOG® Magazine. That lead to five more stories for HOG®. Running north to south and east to west across rural America on forgotten highways, the black and white documentary stories capture its diverse people, places, and history.”

ABOUT Virtual Monthly Presenter’s Meeting

Our featured speakers are typically accomplished photographers from throughout the US and beyond. The monthly meetings also include a “photo challenge” segment, in which all current PPF members are invited to submit photos that reflect a specific theme. EXCEPT THIS WILL NOT TAKE PLACE THIS MEETING. These meetings are the Third Monday of the month and open to the public.

If you would like to learn more about meetings, please become a member today, and you will be subscribed to our newsletter
