PPF At Warrenton Friday April 19-Sunday April 21
Why Warrenton? It's strategically positioned on the Oregon Coast, just minutes from Astoria and Fort Stevens, it has its own working harbor, and miles of unspoiled beach. There's plenty to see, do and photograph. Nature is also providing very low tides at civilized times in the morning. Clamming tides. Think about it.
We have rented a house that sleeps 12. If you are interested in attending, do not delay signing up. Cost per person is $100, and the weekend is open only to PPF members and their significant others at this time. Please ensure your 2019 dues are up to date. (Be advised that this is Easter weekend - this may color your plans.)
Your $100 gets you two nights lodging, two evening meals, and two continental breakfasts. Lunch is on you.
Since people will arrive at various times on Friday, PPF will provide a simple evening meal that is not time-dependent. Think lasagna, salad and garlic bread.
Saturday's meal is open for suggestions. Rumors of some kind of seafood meal Saturday are circulating. We'll accommodate other preferences too, of course. There may be a small surcharge for the main meals due to unforeseen costs, but we're usually able to manage it on $100/head.
Plan to bring samples of photographs you've made to share with others, too. This is a longstanding PPF tradition, and a chance to get feedback on your work. It's a lot of fun!
Plans for these weekends tend to evolve as the date grows close. Feel free to contact Gary Brockway with suggestions or questions, and look for e-mailed information as our plans gel.
Do not delay signing up. These trips fill quickly.
See you at the beach!
